Scope of Work: 

The Grants Management Compliance Analyst provides essential dual-role support to the grants management program. This individual will split their time between handling grants inquiries and conducting compliance checks on submitted applications. The position ensures both quality customer interaction and accurate application processing, contributing to a smooth and professional experience for all applicants. 

Position Responsibilities: 

Customer Support (50%): 

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for applicants via phone and email, addressing inquiries related to the fellowship process, eligibility, and deadlines. 
    This is a Remote (work from home) position

  • Troubleshoot common issues such as account access, document uploads, and form navigation. 

  • Log all interactions in a tracking system, maintaining detailed records for reporting and follow-up. 

  • Escalate complex or technical questions to senior staff when necessary. 

  • Ensure clear, empathetic communication that supports a positive applicant experience. 

Compliance Review & Application Processing (50%): 

  • Review submitted applications to verify that all required documents are complete and compliant with fellowship application requirements and guidelines. 

  • Identify missing or inaccurate information and take follow-up actions, such as contacting applicants or flagging issues for resolution. 

  • Maintain accurate records and logs of compliance checks for auditing and reporting. 

  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent standards across all reviews. 

  • Contribute to the improvement of compliance processes by identifying patterns or recurring errors. 

Qualifications: 

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred. 

  • Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills. 

  • Detail-oriented with the ability to spot inconsistencies and ensure process accuracy. 

  • Comfortable working independently and managing two sets of responsibilities.
